What you will learn

Inside the class

1

Biological basics

The stages of labor, dilation, pushing, and positioning. What your body is actually doing, explained in plain language you can hold onto on the day.
2

Timing & interventions

When to head to the hospital, how to time an epidural, and where other common interventions fit into a labor. Fewer surprises, better decisions.
3

Partner prep

Hip squeezes, comfort tools, and hands-on techniques, practiced together in the room so your partner walks in knowing exactly what to do.
4

Advocacy

Birth plans, the options actually available to you, and how to communicate with your care team so your preferences are heard and honored.
5

Relaxation techniques

Breathing, mindset, and movement you can reach for at any point in labor, from early contractions through pushing.
